I was thinking, in a world full of conspiracy theories, UFOs, and Loch Ness monster sightings, you just gotta believe in something. So, why not Bigfoot? I mean, if Jane Goodall, Dr. Jeff Meldrum, and even James “BoBo” Fay are all onboard, how can we NOT be?
Here are the Top 10 Reasons to Believe in Bigfoot:
1. Jane Goodall Gives the Nod
If Jane Goodall says Bigfoot might be out there, I’m not arguing! She hung out with chimps—she knows her stuff.
2. Jeff Meldrum’s Foot Fetish
Dr. Meldrum has hundreds of Bigfoot footprints in his lab. Who needs hard proof when you’ve got an entire shoe collection of Sasquatch-sized kicks?
3. BoBo Exists, So Why Not Bigfoot?
If James “BoBo” Fay can make a living looking for Bigfoot, we can make a living believing in it. Logic, people.
4. He’s an Expert at Hide-and-Seek
Bigfoot is simply the world champion of hide-and-seek. Ever notice how you can’t find your car keys when you need them? Same principle.
5. Bigfoot Is an Environmentalist
You know why we can’t find him? He’s busy protecting the forest. The original “green” movement. Al Gore’s got nothing on Sasquatch.
6. The FBI Investigated Bigfoot in 1977
If the FBI took time out of its busy schedule to check out Bigfoot’s hair samples, he’s real enough for me.
7. Every Region Has One
From the Yeti in the Himalayas to the Skunk Ape in Florida, everyone has a cousin who “saw something.” Global phenomenon = real.
8. Bigfoot’s Starring in TV Shows
If he’s famous enough to have a dozen TV shows, he’s obviously A-list. Ever seen a show called “Searching for Chuck Norris”? Didn’t think so.
9. He’s a Role Model for Introverts
Bigfoot just wants to live a quiet life in the woods, avoid drama, and only appear when absolutely necessary. #IntrovertGoals.
10. You Have to Believe in Something
Why not Bigfoot? If we can believe in Wi-Fi and smartphones, surely a giant, hairy forest dweller isn’t that far-fetched.
Bigfoot is out there, and he’s doing just fine. Now, who’s coming with me on a Bigfoot search expedition?
